BOULDER, Colo. (Jan. 12, 2023) — Cozy Coats for Kids® recently partnered with Jenn and Troy Pittman of North Florida Inspection Solutions in Lawtey, Fla., to coordinate a coat giveaway in their local community. CCFK purchased coats for each child based on the order they received from Lawtey Elementary School. CCFK shipped the coats directly to the Pittmans, and they gift-wrapped each one and passed them out to the children at school.
Although known for its warm climate, Florida still experiences cold and inclement weather. As a result, many children in the state’s underserved communities do not have appropriate attire for when the warmer weather ends. As a variation on the typical winter coats that CCFK purchases for distribution, this order included rain gear and fleece jackets.
