BOULDER, Colo. (March 31, 2025) — Cozy Coats for Kids® is proud to announce another generous personal donation of $100,000.00 to the charity from its founder, businessman Nick Gromicko.
In addition to personally running InterNACHI’s Tuesday Night Auctions and donating the auction prizes as a fundraising effort for the charity, Gromicko made this contribution to help Cozy Coats for Kids® reach a major fundraising milestone for its Annual Coat Delivery Program, which provides free coats to kids in their favorite color across the country.
Asked about the donation, Gromicko said, “When I see the charity working hard to get close to a big goal, especially one tied to growing demand and expanding their impact, I like to round it up. It’s a simple way to help push things forward.”
Cozy Coats for Kids® expresses its sincere thanks to Nick Gromicko for his support and for helping us reach more kids each year with the gift of warmth and confidence.
Volunteer Executive Director Maggie Aey responded, “Nick’s consistent generosity has helped us grow this program year after year. His donation goes directly toward providing quality, brand-new coats into the hands of kids who need them most.”
Founded in 1996 and converted to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2018, Cozy Coats for Kids® continues its mission of empowering children and keeping them healthy. The Annual Coat Delivery Program is made possible by the generous support of donors and volunteers across the country, who help identify children in need in their communities and coordinate the distribution of coats.
