BOULDER, Colo. (Dec. 6, 2019) – Cozy Coats for Kids® recently delivered 70 children’s coats to the Charlton Street School in Southbridge, Mass. This is the third year Cozy Coats for Kids® has coordinated with Charlton Street School’s Parent Liaison Esther Vargas to provide brand-new free winter coats for its students and their siblings.
Read the letter Ms. Vargas received from one of the grateful parents:
“I wanted to thank you for sending the kids home with new coats today. I had known they needed coats, but with all the bills and expenses, and me still only being able to work part-time, it just wasn’t going to be possible. I had been to the Salvation Army a few times, but the donations of coats had not arrived. I was so worried because Gabriel’s coat did not even have a working zipper. You do not know the peace you have given me. It’s horrible to not be able to provide your kids with basic items. I thank the school for all their support, and I thank all of the generous people who donated to help us. I know one day I will be in a better place and I will do my best to help others.”
All of the brand-new winter coats were purchased with money raised by members of the property inspection industry.
