BOULDER, Colo. (Jan 5, 2021) – InterNACHI® hosted its Annual Online Christmas Party in mid-December. It’s known as the largest event in the inspection industry. Each year, more than 3,000 home inspectors attend, and the online party goes on all day long, with members posting to a dedicated forum thread in order to win all kinds of inspection-related prizes. InterNACHI® shipped four truckloads of prizes to hundreds of lucky winners.

This year, InterNACHI® also raised over $5,000 for Cozy Coats for Kids®, which is enough to provide about 165 brand-new children’s winter coats. The amount raised was more than twice the money raised at last year’s event. CCFK has no overhead costs, so all of the money raised goes directly to purchasing brand-new children’s coats.

Many home inspectors who made a donation now have their company’s logo and a link to their website posted on the Cozy Coats for Kids® Donors page.

Throughout the year, CCFK focuses on fundraising initiatives and campaigns to fulfill orders for brand-new winter coats as part of its Annual Coat Delivery Program. Aside from InterNACHI’s Online Christmas Party, some of these initiatives and campaigns include contests, giveaways, and online auctions hosted on the organization’s Facebook page and dedicated forum thread titled “Cozy Coats for Kids” on InterNACHI’s message board, and also at live events, such as InterNACHI’s Annual Convention.

CCFK is not a not coat drive; it purchases coats with a specific child in mind based on their color and style preference. It relies on property inspectors – primarily InterNACHI® members – to identify a need in their community, and coordinates with them to deliver the coats directly to children’s families for distribution.
