BOULDER, Colo. (Dec. 22, 2021) – Cozy Coats for Kids® recently partnered with Lifeline Outreach-Feeding Alaska to provide brand-new winter coats to children in Anchorage and the surrounding area. The mission of Lifeline Outreach-Feeding Alaska is to improve the quality of life statewide by distributing healthy food, and empowering communities with the tools necessary to overcome suicide, as Alaska ranks #1 nationally in suicides.

The two organizations share a mission to improve the well-being of children, and Cozy Coats for Kids® was pleased to play a part in providing resources to struggling Alaskans. The children’s coats were distributed at an event at the beginning of December, at which children were able to choose a coat based on their favorite color and style. More coats will also be delivered to Alaska’s remote areas using cargo planes.

Cozy Coats for Kids® is the official charity of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors – InterNACHI®. It is funded primarily by donations from members of the home inspection industry. All donations are used to purchase and deliver brand-new winter coats to children nationwide. The charity is run entirely by volunteers. For information about donating, visit www.CozyCoatsforKids.org/Donate.
