BOULDER, Colo. (Oct. 26, 2022) – The first coat giveaway of the season for Cozy Coats for Kids® was coordinated by Mickie Davis of Cookeville Home Inspection, located in Gainesboro, Tenn. Davis put in the legwork early this year to identify kids needing coats to stay warm through the winter. She contacted local families and collected their order information to submit to Cozy Coats for Kids®.
The charity organization then purchased the coats and shipped them to Davis, with help from sponsor Inspector Outlet. Davis hand-delivered the coats, which arrived just in time for a downturn in the temperature, which was in the mid-20s during her rounds to the families. This giveaway was part of the Cozy Coats for Kids® Annual Coat Delivery Program. The coat giveaways are coordinated with home inspectors and other organizations throughout the country, and funded by generous donations from members of the inspection industry.
