BOULDER, Colo. (Dec. 23, 2025) — Cozy Coats for Kids® announces a successful coat distribution in partnership with the Wright Center for Patient & Community Engagement located in Scranton, PA. Children connected to this organization each received a brand-new winter coat chosen specifically for them, completely free of charge. Every child was able to select their preferred colors and styles, ensuring each coat brings both comfort and joy as they face the cold winter ahead.
Patient & Community Engagement works to actively to support overall community well-being, enhance access to quality health care services, and foster education and workforce growth in the health sector. A shared commitment to supporting families beyond medical treatment, made this partnership a seamless fit with the mission of Cozy Coats for Kids®.
Holly Przasnyski, Director of Patient and Community Engagement, coordinated this initiative, working closely with families to gather coat preferences and facilitate the distribution. Her dedication ensured that each child received a coat perfectly suited to their individual needs and requests.
The impact of this program was powerfully expressed by one recipient who shared: “I am so grateful for this program and for being able to receive coats for my children. After we lost everything in a fire, this helps tremendously. The fact that my children got to have a say in what they received means so much to them.”
In expressing their gratitude, Holly shared: “Your program allows us to make a greater impact in our communities, where the need is so significant. Partnerships with organizations like yours help us meet some of the most basic needs and bring joy to those who need it most.”
