BOULDER, Colo. (Dec. 2, 2025) — This year, Cozy Coats for Kids® provided brand-new winter coats to students at Highland Turner Elementary School in Booneville, Kentucky. The charity partnered with the local elementary school through its Annual Coat Delivery Program, where each coat is hand-picked for a specific child. The coat delivery was coordinated on behalf of the school by Linda Oaks, Family Resource Youth Service Center Coordinator.

Oaks worked directly with families and children across all grade levels to gather each child’s preferred coat color and style. Cozy Coats for Kids® purchased and delivered the coats based on the information she collected, and the coats were distributed to the children just before the onset of cold weather.

Oaks expressed her appreciation, stating: “Thank you Holley and the rest of the team at Cozy Coats for Kids! Your organization was a blessing for our students. I truly hope you realize the difference you make in people’s lives.”

Oaks shared the following photo and the impact of the delivery, stating:

“The coat distribution brought not only warmth but also smiles and happiness to our students. One child replied, ‘It’s so pretty and warm,’ as she tried on her new coat. The children who qualified for the program were thrilled and couldn’t wait to put them on.

With the cold winter season here and the holidays approaching, Cozy Coats for Kids® has helped ease some of the financial strain for many of our families by providing twenty-four students with new, warm winter coats.

It was wonderful to observe the children’s reactions as they received their coats, and a privilege to partner with Cozy Coats for Kids® to bring warmth and happiness to Highland-Turner students.”
