BOULDER, Colo. (Jan. 4 2023) — Cozy Coats for Kids® provided 100 brand-new winter coats to Agape Pamoja, a Kansas City, Mo.-based nonprofit organization that helps refugees who have immigrated to the U.S. from war-torn countries. The organization owns and operates “blessing houses” that provide them with affordable housing. They also host events and classes that help equip their community members to thrive in America.

Brent Gieseke and his wife Lindsay run Agape Pamoja. Gieseke is a realtor in Kansas City and was referred to CCFK by local home inspector Bryan Standley, CMI®.

A team of volunteers for Agape Pamoja delivered the coats, along with hats and gloves, to the families at their blessing houses. The organization stated, “Thank you for all you do and for keeping so many kids warm this winter!”

The coats were purchased using funds raised by home inspectors nationwide. Cozy Coats for Kids® is proud to play a part in Agape Pamoja’s mission of helping refugees, especially during the winter season.
