BOULDER, Colo. (Nov. 13, 2023) — Cozy Coats for Kids® recently partnered with Found House Interfaith Hospitality Network for a coat giveaway. The Cincinnati-based organization provides emergency shelter and housing programs for homeless families in the area.
The partnership with Found House provided the children in their network with the opportunity to order a coat in their favorite color and style. The coats were delivered entirely free of cost, with each coat tagged with the child’s name so that they would know that it was purchased especially for them.
A representative of Found House said, “When the children received the coats – seeing the smiles on their faces, they were so happy and thankful to have a new staple piece of clothing.” Another staffer said, “A child named Charlie told me it was cold in the mornings on the way to school. When I dropped off his coat, he took it out of the package right away, tried it on, and still had it on when I left. He was smiling the entire time. His smile and happiness are everything this program stands for.”
The organization shared photos of their staff preparing the coats for distribution.
