BOULDER, Colo. (Oct. 24, 2023) — Cozy Coats for Kids® recently partnered with LIFE-John Coker Early Learning Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., to provide 50 brand-new winter children’s coats to the families who attend the center.
LIFE (Labor & Industry for Education, Inc.) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to offer a variety of social services to individuals and families, without discriminating based on race, religion, or culture. They offer free to low-cost daycare for eligible families. CCFK was excited by this new partnership, as it perfectly aligns with their mission of assisting those who are in greatest need in underserved communities.
The order was coordinated by Child Care Specialist Michelle Sanay, who collected information regarding the children’s sizes and color preferences to submit to CCFK. CCFK then carefully selected each coat with a specific child in mind and tagged each one with the child’s name. In this way, each child will know that their coat was chosen especially for them.
