BOULDER, Colo. (Dec. 13, 2022) — For the third year in a row, Cozy Coats for Kids® has partnered with the Family Resource Schools (FRS) Program to provide free brand-new winter coats to elementary school children within the Boulder Valley School District. FRS is a joint partnership between the City of Boulder and the Boulder Valley School District, and serves children and families at local elementary schools. The program emphasizes outreach to traditionally underserved populations.
This year, the coats were primarily for children attending Columbine Elementary School. The school collected the children’s sizes, favorite colors and styles, and forwarded the information to CCFK, which purchased the coats and delivered them to FRS.
The school’s FRS liaison responded in a letter, saying, “Thanks so much for helping us with the coats again this year; it makes a huge difference!”
Cozy Coats for Kids® serves communities nationwide through its Annual Coat Delivery Program, and they are especially pleased to partner with FRS once again to give back to their local community of Boulder.
