BOULDER, Colo. (Oct. 27, 2022) – Cozy Coats for Kids® recently partnered with Joshua Adkins of Adkins Home Inspections to coordinate a coat giveaway in his local community of Berea, Ky. Adkins worked with Kingston Elementary’s Family Resource Center to identify more than 50 children needing a winter coat. He collected orders that included each child’s size and color preference to submit to the charity organization. Funds donated by members of the home inspection industry throughout the year were used to purchase the brand-new winter coats.

When submitting his order, Adkins expressed his gratitude to CCFK, saying, “Thank you so much for letting us be a part of this amazing program. There is a huge need at Kingston Elementary, and we are so happy to be involved in helping them meet their needs. The Family Resource Center director is very excited and appreciative that Kingston was offered this opportunity, as well. We know the kids will be so excited to get their new coats, and Cozy Coats did an amazing job picking out the coats based on the kids’ preferences and special requests.”

This annual program is made possible through generous donations by members of the home inspection industry, including the Tuesday Night Auction hosted by InterNACHI® and its founder Nick Gromicko. Antiques, collectibles, and home inspection-related items are auctioned off weekly. The entire proceeds of the winning bids go directly to purchasing and delivering coats to those in need nationwide.
