BOULDER, Colo. (Nov. 7, 2023) — Cozy Coats for Kids® recently partnered with Joshua Adkins of Adkins Home Inspections in Berea, Ky., to coordinate a coat giveaway for the second year in a row. Adkins worked with Kingston Elementary’s Family Resource Center to identify more than 50 children needing a winter coat. He collected orders that included each child’s size and favorite color, and submitted this information to the charity organization.
Adkins expressed his gratitude to CCFK, saying, “I want to thank Cozy Coats for accepting our application again this year. We have been so excited to help coordinate giving kids in need in our community new coats. The coats arrived at the perfect time, as the cold weather has started to set in here in Kentucky. Once again, we are just amazed at the thought put into purchasing the kids’ coats in the style and color they asked for.”
He continued, “Cozy Coats did an amazing job filling their requests, and it is apparent that each coat was hand-picked for each child. We are so excited to be able to share photos with you to show you the smiles that Cozy Coats has brought to the kids’ faces. We hope to work with Cozy Coats again next year!”
The annual program is made possible through generous donations by members of the home inspection industry. With the funds raised, we supply coats to children across the nation, often in collaboration with home inspectors who work alongside schools, churches, community centers, and other organizations to identify children in need of new winter coats.
