BOULDER, Colo. (Jan. 6, 2026) — Cozy Coats for Kids® announces a successful coat distribution in partnership with the Interdisciplinary Child Advocacy Clinic in Philadelphia, PA. Children supported by this organization received a brand-new winter coat, chosen specifically for them, completely free of charge, through the Annual Coat Delivery Program. Every child was able to select their preferred colors and styles, ensuring each coat brings both comfort and joy as they face the cold winter ahead.
The Interdisciplinary Child Advocacy Clinic (ICAC), is part of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School’s Gittis Legal Clinics, a 501(c)(3) organization, that provides interdisciplinary (i.e., law, social work, medicine, and mental health) support to under resourced children and families in the Philadelphia area. Jennifer Bulcock, Social Work Supervisor, coordinated the coat delivery, working closely with the organization to identify children and gather specific information about each child’s requirements. Her dedication ensured that each child received a coat perfectly suited to their individual needs and requests.
Bulcock shared the deeper impact of the program’s approach:
“Because we serve children and families in the Philadelphia area, our winters are very cold and one of the greatest needs our clients have is securing appropriately warm winter coats. We struggle every year to help find coats for our clients because the need in Philadelphia is so great. Being able to provide coats to the children we work with through the Cozy Coats program, especially brand new coats, would be an incredible gift to them as many try to survive the winters by layering and wearing sweatshirts, which is not enough.”
