BOULDER, Colo. (Jan. 15, 2024) — Cozy Coats for Kids® recently provided brand-new winter coats to Neighbor to Neighbor Community Development Corporation in Sharon Hill, Penn. The nonprofit organization provides services and resources to low-income families in their community, including operating a food pantry. The children’s coats were distributed at two events hosted by Neighbor to Neighbor.

The first event was for children whose parents volunteer at the food pantry. The second event was for parents who signed up for a Christmas toy distribution. Many of them were referred to Neighbor to Neighbor by the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office. Neighbor to Neighbor Executive Director Beverly Donaldson, said, “The parents were only expecting to receive toys, but they were very surprised when told they could choose coats for their children as well. You could see the relief on their faces when a coat was available in their child’s size.”

Neighbor to Neighbor CDC shared some photos of the volunteers at the event.

Cozy Coats for Kids® provides free brand-new winter coats to kids nationwide through its Annual Coat Delivery Program. The program partners with other nonprofit and charity organizations to connect with underserved children. The partner organization works directly with families and children to acquire the children’s favorite color, size, and style. All of the coats are provided completely free of charge, thanks to the generous support of InterNACHI® members.
